Rooted in Community, Driven by Purpose
Lillian Mosley is a dedicated attorney, business professional, and 30-year Long Beach resident who brings a lifelong commitment to service and advocacy. Raised in Queens’ Rockaway community, Lillian was shaped by strong family values centered on education and empowerment. These early lessons inspired her to pursue a career that blends legal expertise with strategic leadership. With a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law and an MBA from Adelphi University, Lillian has spent her career tackling complex legal and business challenges with integrity and impact.
A Record of Leadership and Advocacy
Lillian began her legal journey at the Community Service Society of New York, where she championed equity through research, advocacy, and direct service for economically vulnerable communities. She went on to serve as an Assistant Law Clerk in the Appellate Division and a Supervising Court Attorney in Kings County Civil Court. Beyond the courtroom, Lillian is deeply invested in mentorship and leadership development, holding key roles in the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and the Puerto Rican Bar Association in NYC. She’s also a proud wife and mother of four, whose family remains the foundation of her purpose and public service.
Listening to the Needs of the Community
I am running for Long Beach City Council because our community deserves thoughtful, transparent leadership that emphasizes fiscal responsibility and sustainable progress. As a Long Beach resident for over 30 years and with a background in public service, law, and community advocacy, I am dedicated to safeguarding the health, safety, and quality of life for all residents. My goal is to make sure our City Council’s decisions truly reflect the needs and voices of everyone in our community.
